Ms. Holladay-- Kindergarten Teacher
This is my 19th year in education---wow, time flies! Most of my teaching experience is in kindergarten, however, I have taught various subjects in the elementary (including PE for one year) and worked with SPED. I also made the leap from kindergarten to high school and taught 9th-12th graders for a year. I am so excited be in kindergarten because I love working with children who are just developing a lifelong love of learning. Coming to school and seeing those darling smiles is one of the best perks of being a teacher.
I have one incredible son who is also my best buddy! He has been at Summit Academy since preschool and now he's moved on to Summit Academy High School. I enjoy hiking and traveling during the summer, and I run year round so I can have the energy to keep up with the kiddos.
If you ever need anything or have any questions then please contact me at anytime.

This is our monthly poem for March. Students will have the opportunity to pass off the poem towards the end of the month.
100th Day
Wednesday, February 7th is our 100th day of Kindergarten! We will celebrate that day with fun activities in our LA and math classes and we invite each child to bring a collection of 100 small items that are alike in some way. Some examples include stickers, coins, Legos, noodles, cereal, etc. Your child can attach/glue the items on a poster or just bring them in a baggie.
Themed Dress Day on Dec. 20th
This is just a reminder that Kindergarten will have a themed Dress Day on December 20th. The theme is either pajamas or holiday colors. Please remember that students will still go outside for recess so make sure that they are dressed for the weather, too.
