Welcome!! I am Missie Crandall the Special Education Teacher K-4. I provide intensive specially designed instruction of scaffold learning to ensure student growth on core standards. I have the opportunity to work with the student’s entire educational support team which can include coordinating with general education teachers, internal and external resource teachers, related service providers as well as the student’s families.

I have been working as a special education teacher at Summit Elementary Independence school for the last 7 years. I received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from BYU. I later earned my special education teaching license at Weber State University. I have a passion for reading and enjoy teaching children the power of reading.
